Police Arrest Bookkeeper in Secret Porn Ring With 700 VIP Members

Thai police arrested a 35-year-old woman from Kanchanaburi who served as the bookkeeper for a secret Telegram group distributing leaked intimate videos and pornography to over 700 paying VIP members. The operation was launched after victims reported their private clips were shared on X, leading investigators to a two-tier subscription scheme that also promoted gambling sites. Authorities are still pursuing the group's administrator.

Police dismantled a secret online pornography ring and arrested its bookkeeper after multiple victims reported their intimate videos had been leaked on X (formerly Twitter) via an account named "Luang Phi Justin JWDYM." The account directed users to a Telegram channel called "Set Yor," which housed a VIP group, "Jar Jae 99 VIP," operating for over a year. The group had two tiers: a standard room with over 300 members paying 99 baht for home-viewing access, and a VIP room with more than 700 members paying 699 baht for premium content including student, celebrity, and other illicit clips. The operation also funneled users to gambling sites. Investigators from the HUG Project under the Family Foundation coordinated with the Technology Crime Suppression Division (TICAC 1) to secure arrest warrants for two suspects — an admin and the bookkeeper. On October 24, 2026, officers apprehended 35-year-old Wipa (surname withheld) from Kanchanaburi at her residence in Pak Phraek subdistrict. She confessed to acting as the bookkeeper. The admin remains at large.

Thai Gold Prices Fall Further Amid Global Sell-Off

Thai gold prices dropped again on October 24, with bars at 63,900 baht and jewelry at 62,625 baht buy prices. Analyst Sirilak Prakobphrapa attributes the decline to global gold falling for three straight sessions after SPDR sold nearly 12 tonnes, outweighing strong Indian ETF inflows. If international prices break below $3,940 per ounce, a sustained downtrend could follow, though short-term support may appear around $4,145-4,150.
