Channel 7HD is set to serve up excitement with "Mae Jom Kwan," pairing Big Nattarshchai and Min Sitthanan in a chemistry-filled action-comedy that invites viewers to follow a dangerous undercover mission to take down villains.

Jomkwan (Sitthanan Thongsombun), a sharp-tongued young woman from Ban Makham Thon, declares war on injustice after her parents are murdered and her family's sacred Buddha image is stolen — especially targeting the influential father-son duo Sia Song (Satawut Dulayawijit) and Sam-ang (Akarawut Jumponwivat).

The plot thickens when handsome Sia Arun (Nattarshchai Charoenmas) arrives to run for village headman against Sam-ang, becoming Sam-ang's romantic rival when market vendor Muay (Grace Harper) falls for Sia Arun. Enraged, Sam-ang sends henchmen to kill Sia Arun, who barely survives and hides at the home of his estranged twin brother Sai-anh (also Nattarshchai), known as "Blind Gun Tiger." Sai-anh agrees to impersonate Sia Arun in the election and help uncover the truth.

Sai-anh secretly longs to reunite with childhood friend Jomkwan but resists returning due to trauma from his father Krao (Suthi Siricharoen), who hated him because his mother died in childbirth. Sai-anh left Ban Makham Thon years ago, never intending to return.

Sia Arun pleads until Sai-anh relents, returning to contest the election and find who ordered the hit. Meanwhile, Krathen (Suchanuch Suphathamwong), a beauty from Ban Noen Sadao who was Sai-anh's first and only love, reluctantly cares for the recovering Sia Arun.

Living as Sia Arun, Sai-anh navigates village life, helps Jomkwan fight corruption, and thwarts Sia Song and Sam-ang's schemes — including drug framing and poisoned canned fish. As they work together, romance blossoms, though Jomkwan doesn't realize the man she's falling for is Sai-anh, not Sia Arun. Meanwhile, the recovered Sia Arun stays away, hoping to win Krathen's heart, while secretly prospecting for gold in Ban Noen Sadao without Sai-anh or Krathen knowing.

Amid local politics, conflict, and budding love, a dark secret lurks behind Jomkwan's parents' deaths. She discovers the killer seeks to claim a legendary treasure of seven artifacts — and her stolen family Buddha image is one of them. But the true mastermind remains hidden. Will they escape the clutches of death?

Tune in for a mission to crush villains, a perilous impersonation plot, and a romance wrapped in laughter in "Mae Jom Kwan," airing Monday–Friday at 7:00 PM, starting Monday, October 26, on Channel 7HD (press 35), streaming live on the CH7ON website and app, with catch-up on TrueVisionsNOW.

An editorial warns that recent floods across Thailand have exposed long-standing illegal dumping of industrial toxic waste, with contamination found in Prachinburi's waterways including petroleum hydrocarbons. The government's reactive factory suspensions are insufficient; the piece urges nationwide proactive measures including source-to-disposal waste tracking, public pollution data, stronger penalties, and separation of industrial promotion from environmental regulation to prevent generational health impacts.

Thai Gold Prices Fall Further Amid Global Sell-Off

Thai gold prices dropped again on October 24, with bars at 63,900 baht and jewelry at 62,625 baht buy prices. Analyst Sirilak Prakobphrapa attributes the decline to global gold falling for three straight sessions after SPDR sold nearly 12 tonnes, outweighing strong Indian ETF inflows. If international prices break below $3,940 per ounce, a sustained downtrend could follow, though short-term support may appear around $4,145-4,150.

Astrologer Links October to Thailand's Political Upheaval History

Astrologer Man Karun argues that October's historical association with Thai political turmoil stems from the Sun entering Libra, creating astrological pressure that combines with year-end budget cycles and accumulated public frustration. He suggests this cosmic timing explains why protests, coups, and unrest frequently erupt in October, urging people to act wisely during this volatile period.

Opposition Pushes 4+1 Day No-Confidence Debate Schedule

People's Party deputy leader Rangsiman Rome said opposition negotiators have agreed in principle to a four-day no-confidence debate plus a separate voting day, but must still settle hour allocations with other opposition parties. He also criticized the Justice Ministry for what he called selective enforcement, contrasting the swift pursuit of one opposition MP with delays in acting against a government-aligned MP facing asset-transfer allegations.

Democrat Party Deputy Spokesperson Duangruthai Bua-kaew sharply criticized the government's flood response in southern Thailand, accusing officials of being detached from the reality on the ground because floodwaters have not reached Government House. She challenged the Prime Minister's Office spokesperson to visit affected communities instead of relying on reports, citing repeated failures in past disasters like the Hat Yai floods.
