Ms. Min, a 37-year-old fortune teller, reported to police that she had sold amulets claimed to contain human parts, which she said were blessed by four occult teachers. After being sued for fraud and ordered to repay 2.6 million baht, she urged authorities to investigate the source and expand the case against everyone involved. Police will send the amulets for forensic testing to verify whether they actually contain human tissue.
At 9:30 a.m. on October 19, 2069 (2026 CE), Ms. Min, a 37-year-old fortune teller, accompanied by activist Ranarong Kaewpet of the Justice Restoration Foundation, went to the Central Investigation Police Headquarters to file a complaint with the Crime Suppression Division. She presented evidence and amulets that she claimed were made from human parts and had been consecrated by four occult teachers. Ms. Min said she obtained the items through an intermediary, who said they came from the four teachers, and she later sold them to believers. After being accused of fraud by victims and ordered to repay 2.6 million baht, she asked police to investigate the source, expand the case against suppliers, producers, middlemen and sellers, and have the amulets scientifically tested to determine whether they actually contain human tissue. Ranarong Kaewpet said the items were left at his lawyer’s office and would be handed over for further forensic examination.
