Royal Project Traffic Police successfully escorted the 197th heart from Don Mueang Airport to Chulalongkorn Hospital in just 19 minutes despite heavy rainfall. On October 22, 2026, at 5:15 PM, the Royal Project Radio Center received a mission to transport a heart amid heavy rain. Traffic police rapidly deployed mobile units, engineering teams, and traffic facilitators, coordinating with local traffic police, highway police, and expressway officials to clear a route for the convoy. The mission was completed in 19 minutes, demonstrating the officers' determination to save lives despite weather obstacles.

Pol. Lt. Gen. Itthipol commended all units for their dedication and efficient coordination, thanking road users who yielded to the convoy despite difficult driving conditions. He emphasized that such cooperation is vital for time-critical life-saving missions.

Pol. Maj. Gen. Nitithon Chintakanon, Assistant National Police Chief, also thanked the public for their compassion in making way for the heart transport, noting that "no matter how heavy the rain, the heart stays dry" when officials and citizens work together. He urged continued public cooperation in yielding to emergency vehicles so every second counts for patients' lives.

For emergencies on highways, the public can call Highway Police 1193, Traffic Police Command Center 1197, or Royal Thai Police 191 and 1599, available 24 hours.
