Pheu Thai MP Wisut Chaiyarat urged fellow legislators to hear the opposition’s arguments before the upcoming no‑confidence debate and vote. He said his party is not concerned because none of its ministers are facing interpellation. The debate is set for October 27‑29, 2026, with the vote on October 30.
Wisut Chaiyarat, a Pheu Thai party‑list MP and chairman of the party’s MPs, spoke on October 17, 2026 about the upcoming no‑confidence debate against the government, scheduled for October 27‑29 with a vote on October 30. He stressed that as MPs their duty is to listen to the opposition’s information and “heavy punches” before deciding how to vote, noting that it is normal for the opposition to criticize the government and point out irregularities in projects. Wisut said that while some government MPs might protest if the opposition oversteps parliamentary rules, the Pheu Thai team remains calm because none of its ministers are being debated. He concluded that the party will listen to both the opposition’s points and the government’s responses before making a final decision on the vote.
