Lina and Meow Reveal Father's Illness and Destiny Bond

Channel 3 stars Lina Lalin Chueatt and Meow Natcha described how their fated bond began eight years ago at Chulalongkorn University, where Lina was a senior drum major and Meow a freshman cheerleader. They also shared personal struggles, including Lina’s father’s cancer battle and Meow’s initial family resistance to her showbiz career, noting that Meow was the only one who knew when Lina’s father’s condition worsened during an event.

Lina Lalin Chueatt and Meow Natcha appeared on the show "Hit the Kitchen" at the CHANN Bangkok-Noi hotel beside the river, where they discussed their new drama Pls.Love (Love or Not?) and revealed details of their personal lives. The pair said they first met eight years ago when Lina, a second‑year student and drum major, noticed Meow, a first‑year cheerleader, jogging past during practice on Chulalongkorn’s sports field. Lina recalled that she had auditioned more than ten potential co‑stars for kissing scenes before feeling that Meow’s chemistry was right, a feeling reinforced after both prayed at the Rama V statue on campus and asked for a compatible partner.

Meow explained that, after graduating, she worked as a beauty blogger and YouTuber/TikTok creator when she received a call about a girls‑love role. Lina’s invitation made her eager to try the genre. She admitted her parents, especially her father, were initially reluctant because he had many friends in the entertainment industry—Awillee (Macintosh), Uncle Kob, Songsit, Aunt Mam, Aunt Aom, and Aunt Jeab—and worried about the instability of showbiz. However, after seeing her dedication to beauty vlogs, music videos, and acting, her family now fully supports her career.

Lina spoke about her father’s illness. Normally based in Chiang Mai, he was diagnosed with cancer and moved to Bangkok for treatment, where he now lives with her. Although his medical treatment is complete, his age means she tries to return home each day to hug him. She said her father rarely calls, but when he is alone he rings her every day, waiting outside her house rather than in the living room, even when she is busy with work. Recalling these moments brought her to tears.

Meow added that she stays close to Lina because she knows about her father’s health. During a recent public appearance, Lina received a call from the hospital saying her father’s condition had deteriorated and she needed to go to the emergency room. She managed to smile and finish her fan‑meeting, then hurried to the car. Meow said she was the only person who knew what was happening at that moment.

Activist Pada has filed a complaint with Thailand’s anti‑corruption police, accusing officials of using forged land documents to appoint a fake abbot at a Khon Kaen forest temple.
