Restaurant Owner Refutes Influencer Golf Kannalin's Claims, Alleges Agreement Breach
A restaurant owner at Bangkok's Railway Park has publicly rebutted claims by sports influencer Golf Kannalin, who alleged she was forced to apologize and her team detained. The owner denies renting space to Golf, stating they only agreed to let a running club use the seating area for canned coffee promotion from 6-9 AM, but Golf brought full commercial equipment and violated the agreed location and hours. The dispute highlights a clash over verbal agreements and alleged intimidation.
The restaurant owner has hit back at famous sports influencer Golf Kannalin, denying she ever rented out the space or charged any fee. The owner says the other party broke their agreement by bringing in coffee machines and a barista to sell drinks, even though the shop already sells fresh coffee, and set up in a location not previously discussed.
The dispute began when Golf Kannalin posted a video on her Facebook page Golf Kannalin about a collaboration with a restaurant in Railway Park. Problems arose over agreed early working hours, prompting the restaurant owner to change her attitude. Golf previously claimed the owner forced her to post a self-incriminating message and alleged her team and manager were detained, raising safety concerns.
In an update on October 23, 2026, the restaurant owner commented on Golf's post to give her side: "I never rented the place to you. You asked to rent, I said no. But your friend Oat said it was a running club wanting a rest spot for runners, and would bring canned coffee to promote to runners from 6:00-9:00 AM. I agreed because they were exercisers asking to use the bathroom, seating, and tables. I also said my shop opens at 8:00 AM and asked that you leave by 9:00 AM, and the permitted area was only the inner section near the fountain.
But what you did was bring coffee machines, ice tanks, and a barista to operate a full business, while my shop is a restaurant selling fresh coffee. I never rented the space or charged a single baht.
On the 17th, you set up in a different spot than agreed. I found out at midday and you were still selling your coffee. I had staff tell Golf and Oat this wasn't allowed. Oat agreed to move to the agreed spot and not sell past 9 AM. But on the 18th, you did the same again, breaking your word.
Regarding the GP matter, I never discussed it and don't accept it. I only asked you to apologize on the page and it would be over. But now I must clarify because neither of you takes responsibility sincerely. P.S. Every point in your clarification is wrong.
Sports influencer Golf Kannalin weeps, claims she was forced to post self-incriminating message.
