Influencer Golf Kannalin Forced to Post Self-Incriminating Video
Sports influencer Golf Kannalin alleges she was coerced by a Railway Park restaurant owner into posting a scripted self-incriminating confession on social media. The dispute began when the owner abruptly ended a two-week trial collaboration, verbally abused Golf's team, and brought uniformed men who detained her manager and staff. Golf complied with the demands only to secure her team's release, and the incident has been reported to police.
Sports influencer 'Golf Kannalin' tearfully released an explanatory video claiming she was coerced by a restaurant owner into posting a self-incriminating confession, saying her team and manager were being held hostage.
On October 22, 2026, the Facebook page of well-known sports influencer Golf Kannalin published a video detailing her collaboration with a restaurant in Railway Park. The post explained that Golf had been forced to make the confession. Many may have seen a post on Golf's page on Sunday, and she wanted to clarify that she was coerced by the other party, who had people in uniform detain her team and manager as leverage. Initially they demanded money, attempting to pin a trespassing charge on them, but Golf's side refused to pay since they hadn't trespassed. The owner then changed tactics, writing a script and forcing Golf to post a self-incriminating confession on social media.
The background: Golf's manager had met with two friendly restaurant owners at Railway Park and agreed to use the venue to create a running community with seating, coffee service, and networking. Golf would help promote to drive traffic. They agreed to open on October 17 for a two-week trial, reduced from the original 90-day plan.
On Friday, October 16, the team set up the venue with the restaurant's partner and manager facilitating. On Saturday the 17th, Golf and team opened for business, agreeing to close at 9:00 PM, but traffic was so heavy they stayed until around 11:00 PM. The owner called demanding they stop selling because the railway operator (the restaurant's contractual partner) didn't approve, and said Sunday would be their last day.
On Sunday the 18th, traffic was heavy and met targets. They stopped taking orders at 9:00 PM and began packing up. The owner called again with abusive language. Wanting to avoid trouble, they hurried to pack. While packing, the owner arrived and verbally abused Golf and her team in front of customers, loud enough that runners and tourists stopped to watch and record video. The owner accused Golf and her manager of trespassing under Section 18 and called them fraudsters.
Golf's team packed up and left for home. En route, remaining team members still packing reported in panic that the owner had brought two uniformed men who wouldn't let them leave the premises. The women were crying in fear.
Golf's manager called 191 (police) and rushed back to the Railway Park restaurant, leaving Golf to wait for another truck. En route, the team reported police had called but the uniformed men and owner still wouldn't let them leave.
Upon arrival, the manager updated the uniformed officers that police had been notified and demanded the team's release. At this point the manager became the hostage in place of the team because he wasn't allowed to leave.
Initially the owner tried to press trespassing charges and demand money. But after uniformed officers saw evidence on the manager's phone, their attitude changed. The owner then wrote a script, had the manager photograph it and send to Golf, forcing Golf to post the self-incriminating confession or the manager wouldn't be released. Golf complied only out of concern for her team's safety. Not satisfied, the owner also forced Golf to share the post to the Railway Park runners' page.
Later, the owner's son arrived and, after seeing meeting preparation evidence on the manager's phone...
