Nadaka Retains Muay Thai Title with Second-Round KO
Thai Muay Thai fighter Nadaka Yoshinari retained his One Atomweight world title with a second‑round knockout of Malaysian challenger Reefdeen Masdor at One Samurai 4 in Tokyo. Masdor came in over the weight limit, agreed to pay a fine, and the fight went ahead as planned. Nadaka ended the bout at 58 seconds of round two, securing an easy victory and keeping his belt.
Nadaka, who had already locked in the title at the weigh‑in after his opponent failed to make weight, still demonstrated his power by pummeling Reefdeen Masdor and scoring a second‑round knockout to defend his One Muay Thai World Atomweight championship at One Samurai 4 on Oct. 17 in Tokyo’s Ariake Arena. Prior to the bout, Reefdeen missed the weight limit, agreed to pay a penalty, and both fighters consented to continue with five rounds, though Nadaka would retain the belt regardless and Masdor could no longer win the title. The fight ended early when Nadaka dropped Masdor with a punch at the 58‑second mark of round two, prompting the referee to stop the contest for an easy knockout victory.
