On 15 Oct 69, Buriram’s online community praised a woman who punched a drunk man harassing a singer on a parade stage. The 22‑year‑old singer Som from Bungern Band in Surin said she was hired for a birthday‑style event and a shop opening in Krasang District. At first the mood was good, but a heavily drunk man aged about 30‑40 took off his shirt and asked for a handshake while she sang. She agreed, yet he repeatedly tried to drag her off the stage; she endured it, thinking he was drunk. After many tries and finishing her song, a female staff member stepped forward and punched him once, knocking him down. Som, speaking for the artist, apologized for the incident and thanked the staff for protecting them.
