All 1,000 helmets will be forwarded to Metropolitan Police stations across Bangkok for use in road‑safety campaigns and public awareness activities. The initiative seeks to encourage motorcycle riders and passengers to wear helmets correctly, thereby reducing injuries and fatalities from road accidents. Officials stressed that proper helmet use is a key measure to lessen the severity of crash injuries and lower the risk of death. The program reflects cooperation between the public and private sectors in supplying safety equipment and promoting traffic discipline among motorcyclists.
