Police from the Anti-Corruption Division arrested Sor Pichit, director of strategy and budget at Wichian Buri Municipality in Phetchabun Province, on the evening of July 13, 2569, as an additional suspect in a civil service entrance exam fraud case involving local government officials. The Department of Local Administration had filed a complaint with the Anti-Corruption Division to pursue charges against those responsible. Sor Pichit was intercepted while traveling to the Anti-Corruption Division to surrender voluntarily, hoping for a favorable legal outcome, but police did not allow him to turn himself in first. Instead, he is being detained for investigation and prosecution alongside Dr. Win (Aswin), an academic advisor at a university, and Sattaporn, Win's sister, who was previously captured by Laotian authorities.
