The Ling-Om duo poured their hearts into their first big concert. Ling acknowledged feeling pressure and proclaimed, 'I love my job.' Om said she felt proud seeing Ling's determination turn into success, thanked everyone, and noted fans' constant support.
Opening up before their first major stage, the hot pair ‘Ling-Ling Kong’ and ‘Om Kornnaphat’ discussed the upcoming ‘LINGORM THE WORLD BETWEEN US CONCERT’ set for October 17, 2069 at IMPACT Arena, Muang Thong Thani. They shared how they had rehearsed intensively, whipped their bodies into shape, and prepared a show with many moods. Ling admitted the experience was new, exciting, and stressful, while Om expressed pride in Ling for earnestly tackling something she wasn’t used to and making it work, thanking fans and the whole team for helping build this important memory.
Om: ‘This is Ling-Om’s first concert, held over two days, October 17‑18 at IMPACT Arena. I hope everyone likes it.’
Ling: ‘We’ve rehearsed a lot; we’ve decided today is the day I love my job to the fullest. I’ve conditioned my body thoroughly and prepared to the max.’
Om: ‘Yesterday we danced until our hair flew, we ran through the routines late into the night, and this morning we woke up fresh and excited, ready to show the fans.’
When asked about choosing the playlist: Om said she curated the list and then decided together with Ling, checking if Ling could keep up with the tempo, noting some songs were fast, but there were many moods; this year’s theme is flowers, ranging from cute to upbeat.
On boosting each other’s energy: Ling replied that Om gives her encouragement. Om added, ‘You can do it, we can do it, we can do it like this.’
Regarding what’s new: Ling said it’s very new, almost a generation‑shift experience; she learned many things from this biggest concert she’s ever done, which differs from previous fan‑con events because it’s much more serious. As an introvert and actress, the pressure is high, but a new flavor has emerged.
Om on rating Ling’s effort: She said, speaking from knowing Ling for a long time, this is the time Ling has shown the most dedication, and Om herself has also given her all. They’ve gone through fatigue together, so today Om feels especially proud of Ling, who still looks a bit dazed; Om bought her own things, saw Ling practicing, and bought her own, happy to see Ling succeed despite not being naturally inclined.
When asked if Om had to practice ‘gen‑y’ (likely a dance style): Om replied they could listen to everything, and today’s look involved changing outfits more than ten times, even chafing her skin. Ling jokingly asked if IMPACT allows dancing, saying if they do, it would be awesome, and everyone would wonder why Ling is doing this (laughing). Om replied everyone is confused (laughing). Ling laughed, ‘What did aunt do?’
Finally, thanks: Ling wanted to thank herself first, for giving her all to the job, the fans who came—about 12,000 over the two days—and everyone who traveled, intended to meet them, spent time with them, and supported food and projects. Om added thanks to all sides: fans, backstage crew, dancers, elders, saying missing any one would have made it impossible, as everyone truly devoted themselves to the show, and thanks to fans whose presence gave them another chance to have this day, wishing everyone happiness and joy.
