Great news for Thai basketball fans! Disney+ and ESPN announced they will begin live-streaming NBA games in Thailand starting with the 2026‑27 season. Disney+ subscribers can watch selected regular‑season NBA games, plus chosen playoff matchups including the Conference Finals and NBA Finals, via ESPN on Disney+ at no extra cost. The package also includes a variety of sports content such as live broadcasts, analysis shows, original programs, and more, with premium‑quality English‑language commentary and expert analysis from programs like Pardon The Interruption, NBA Tip Off, and Inside the NBA. The partnership continues ESPN’s long‑standing international relationship with the NBA and highlights its 25th straight season of NBA coverage.

Disney+ members can follow and cheer their favorite teams through specially selected regular‑season games, including featured big‑match slots on Thursdays, Sundays, and Mondays. Disney+ will also stream up to 24 playoff games per season, covering the first round and conference semifinals, plus every game of one conference final each season — beginning with the Western Conference Finals in 2026‑27. Fans will be able to watch every game of the NBA Finals in the seasons 2026‑27, 2028‑29, 2030‑31, 2032‑33, and 2034‑35, along with other special events such as the NBA Christmas games (all five matches each year), the NBA Draft, the NBA All‑Star Celebrity Game, and selected games from the NBA Summer League.

Kylie Watson‑Wheeler, head of ESPN Asia‑Pacific, said: “The Asia‑Pacific region is vitally important to global sports, especially basketball, which enjoys a long‑standing popularity and a passionate fan base that adds energy to the sporting scene. Bringing ESPN to Disney+ will help promote that enthusiasm, giving fans closer access to the sports, athletes, and stories they love, while strengthening ESPN’s position as a leading sports destination for fans in Thailand and across the region.”

With the NBA’s worldwide popularity growing, driven by superstars beloved by basketball fans, Thai viewers will be able to follow and cheer stars such as LeBron James (now with the Philadelphia 76ers), who is set to play his 24th professional season, Stephen Curry (Golden State Warriors) entering his 18th season, and Luka Dončić (Los Angeles Lakers), the league’s recent leading scorer.
