Yoshi Opens Up on First Kiss Scene in 'Huk Na My Boss'

She revealed initial nervousness but said the scene flowed naturally after the second take, and expressed delight at the massive positive feedback from fans worldwide. The series is notable for featuring a transgender actress in the girls' love genre.
Actress Yoshi Rinrada opened up about her first kiss scene with Dearna Philipo in the upcoming girls' love series 'Huk Na My Boss' during the Howe Awards 2026 at Bitec Bangna. She expressed excitement and goosebumps over the phenomenal reception from Thai and international fans, noting the significance of featuring a transgender actress in the GL universe. 'The response has been amazing,' she said. 'We filmed everything with genuine intention, and we want viewers to enjoy the result.'
Regarding her comfort level with Dearna, Yoshi admitted initial stress because it was her first kiss scene ever. As a relatively new lead actress, she had never filmed such a scene before. 'The first workshop was about observing the atmosphere,' she explained. 'I didn't expect to shoot the kiss scene at the second workshop, but it flowed naturally and we felt we did a great job.'
Asked how she prepared for the real kiss, Yoshi said she initially studied references from other series and discussed them with Dearna, but ultimately they let the moment happen organically. She confessed she was likely the more nervous one since it was her first time, but the flow improved immediately after the second take.
When asked why the scene was so intense, Yoshi said she didn't hold back. 'I told him I could give it my all and asked him to direct me however he wanted because I want the series to be the best it can be.' She teased that the steamy scenes are not limited to the office but also happen at home, with one location effectively becoming an all-day kiss scene. 'We thought there were few kiss scenes, but when they locked the house location, we were kissing all day long.'
