Thai Badminton Association Ends Victor Deal, Seeks New Sponsor
The Badminton Association of Thailand and Taiwanese brand Victor have ended their planned four-year sponsorship deal for 2026-2030 before a formal contract was signed. Association president Air Chief Marshal Manat Satchanukul said unresolved terms led to the termination of negotiations. The association is now urgently seeking a new sponsorship partner.
Badminton Association of Thailand president Air Chief Marshal Manat Satchanukul responded to Victor's announcement terminating their partnership. Previously, the association held a press conference announcing a four-year partnership with the world-leading Taiwanese badminton brand covering 2026-2030. However, on October 22, Victor issued a statement ending the cooperation, expressing gratitude for the past relationship and pledging continued support for Thai badminton through projects and activities. Manat revealed that the earlier press conference involved only detailed discussions without a formal signed contract. Subsequent review found certain agreements could not be proceeded with, and after a period of talks, both sides reached the point of ending negotiations. The association will now discuss with a new partner and announce details soon.
