Lamphun Governor Calls for Support in Hospital Equipment Fundraiser
Lamphun Hospital and CPF launched the "Every Purchase is the Power of Giving" fair from October 20–22, selling affordable quality food products to raise funds for IV infusion pumps. Governor Piyapong Chuwong praised the three-way partnership benefiting the private sector, consumers, and the hospital, which often lacks equipment and must transfer patients to Chiang Mai. The hospital director thanked CPF for the donation, noting the new controllers will improve treatment efficiency and local healthcare access.
Lamphun – Lamphun Hospital, together with Charoen Pokphand Foods (CPF), organized the "Every Purchase is the Power of Giving" project, selling quality, safe, internationally standardized food products at affordable prices. Proceeds after expenses will fund the purchase of IV infusion controllers to enhance the hospital's patient care capacity. The event runs from October 20–22, 2026, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM at the Food Center entrance near the flagpole, Lamphun Hospital.
Governor Piyapong Chuwong stated the project exemplifies three-way cooperation: the private sector combining business with social responsibility, the public gaining quality affordable goods, and the hospital receiving essential medical equipment.
He added that Lamphun Hospital serves as the provincial medical hub but faces budget and equipment limits, sometimes requiring patient transfers to Chiang Mai. Private sector collaboration helps strengthen local treatment capacity. The governor invited the public to buy daily necessities at low prices and support medical equipment purchases for Lamphun residents.
Dr. Laddawan Hanpirojn, Lamphun Hospital Director, noted the hospital still needs additional medical equipment and thanked CPF for funding the infusion controllers, which will improve treatment efficiency and healthcare access for locals.
