Government spokesperson Ratchada Thanadirek revealed that the Cabinet has approved the Energy Regulatory Operations Plan for 2026–2032, as proposed by the Energy Ministry. The plan has four main objectives: ensuring reliable, sufficient, and efficient energy services tailored to Thailand's needs; developing market oversight mechanisms to promote fair competition, set prices reflecting actual costs, and improve business efficiency; fostering stakeholder cooperation and coordinating energy agencies while fairly addressing affected communities; and elevating organizational standards through improved management systems, personnel development, and corporate culture aligned with international benchmarks.
