ASAP Car Rental has launched "asap Pet Journey", a new EV rental service using Deepal SO7 SUVs equipped for pets, initially at four Bangkok locations including both airports. ASAP, operated by Synergetic Auto Performance PCL, has introduced "asap Pet Journey" — an EV rental service allowing customers to travel conveniently and confidently with pets. The service uses Deepal SO7 electric SUVs allocated exclusively for pet travel, separate from the regular fleet, and equipped with pet-friendly accessories. It debuts at four Bangkok locations — Suvarnabhumi Airport, Don Mueang Airport, Thepharak, and Rama 6 — starting October 21, 2026.

The launch is part of ASAP's Lifestyle Segmentation strategy, leveraging its EV rental strength to serve niche customer groups, beginning with pet owners who value convenience and peace of mind. The company cites ttb analytics data projecting Thailand's pet market to reach 101 billion baht in 2026, with hotels, restaurants, and tourist attractions increasingly adopting pet-friendly policies. ASAP sees travel as another opportunity to serve pet owners comprehensively.

COO Pichaphat Thitipunya stated that many pet owners consider pets essential family members, so travel planning now includes the question "can my pet come too?" ASAP believes future car rental growth depends not just on fleet size or price competition, but on understanding specific customer needs and creating differentiated value. The service is built on the concept "From Pet-Friendly to Pet Understanding," designing the experience for both owner and pet throughout the journey.

The Deepal SO7 SUVs offer spacious cabins, protective seat covers for pets, and a Pet Journey Welcome Set including a pet bandana, Pet Passport, and an information card styled as a boarding pass. Beyond rentals, ASAP plans to develop the Pet Passport into a travel experience linking customers with a broader pet-friendly network.
