Shock as Food Delivery Bag Reveals Fetus at Bangkok Door
A food delivery rider left a plastic bag containing a fetus on a man's door in Bangkok's Phasi Charoen district. Police said the fetus was about three to four months old and was discovered after a mysterious woman called to report it. The man suspects his ex‑girlfriend, who allegedly miscarried and returned the remains.
The man, identified only as Nai A, told police that the rider arrived with the white bag and said someone had ordered food, but he did not dare open it and left it hanging. Later, police called him after a woman reported that a fetus was hanging in the bag at his gate. When he opened the bag he was horrified to see the fetus. Nai A said he suspects his former girlfriend, about 36 years old, whom he dated for four to five years but never married; they split six to seven months ago and share a one‑and‑a‑half‑year‑old son whom she visits on weekends. He added that he had given her a food box a few days earlier and later learned she had miscarried, though he does not know the father of the pregnancy; the fetus was returned to him together with the food box. Police are still questioning Nai A and searching for the ex‑girlfriend to determine the exact cause.
